TWO-PART ONLINE WORKSHOP:

“The Approach, Revisited!”

ISC Founder and Executive Director, Sharon Louden, will be conducting her two-part online professional development workshop this month. These workshops have been a huge hit over the years through her work at Creative Capital, the Joan Mitchell Foundation and many more nonprofit organizations across the country!

“The Approach” has been informed by more than fifteen years of conversations with over 15,000 artists, curators, critics, museum professionals, educators, gallery owners, and other arts leaders all over the country and abroad. This workshop distills practical strategies that artists can immediately put into practice.

Rather than waiting for opportunities to appear, participants will learn how to actively build relationships, create opportunities, and expand their professional communities.

In addition, what makes this workshop different is that Sharon often connects people together while generously sharing her own network.

TOPICS COVERED:

➡️  Finding opportunities without waiting for invitations.
➡️  Researching the people and organizations you most want to know.
➡️  Building a database that becomes one of your most valuable professional assets.
➡️  Reaching out with suggested content, confidence and authenticity.
➡️  Building relationships with people who share your values.
➡️  Following up in meaningful ways that lead to lasting connections.

Our goal is simple: every participant leaves with pragmatic, real-life pathways, renewed confidence, and concrete strategies they can begin using immediately.
