INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINED CREATIVITY

Partnership Program

Wichita, KS (2017)
Harvester Arts Convening

We cultivate relationships with organizations that lead with generosity, embrace change, and work to elevate the role of artists in society.

A vital part of ISC’s work is building cross-sector partnerships around shared commitments. We welcome support from — and facilitate connections between — nonprofits, foundations, corporations, and other institutions that recognize the essential role creativity plays in civic life, innovation, and well-being. Through sponsorships, in-kind support, sharing of resources, mentorship, and our connection hub, we focus on collaborating with organizations (and individuals) that may not typically work together.

Our goal is to bring more voices, perspectives, and resources into meaningful, pragmatic conversations about creative sustainability. We believe deeply in the power of the arts to enhance well-being and longevity, particularly within underserved artist communities.

Areas of emphasis
:

  • Identifying, highlighting, and sharing the many valuable assets artists bring to the table, including our work ethic, how we think & problem-solve, and how we can create something from nothing, to name just a few.

  • Artists are far more than makers: we lead with our ideas.

  • Artists embody freedom of expression.

  • How artists can contribute to a relatively new area of development — Creative Aging — including partnering with nonprofits and foundations that are helping it grow.

  • Embedding artists in non-arts sectors, such as within the healthcare industry and civic planning.

  • Developing contemporary pedagogy included in arts education, from K-12 to higher ed to adulthood learning.

Artist Thrive! Workshop

ISC invites partners, collaborators, and sponsors to join us in advancing the sustainable creative lives of artists:

  • Sponsor Our Initiatives
We invite sponsorship of an event, an arts leader on the ground, a workshop, a mentor, a publication of a study or report, or a brand new initiative.

  • Endorse The Institute for Sustained Creativity
Endorsement can come in many forms, such as sharing events and public offerings through your mailing lists and networks.

  • Be a Part of Our Team
Endowing a named position for one of our team members.

  • Host an Informal Gathering
There are innumerable opportunities for artists and organizations to get together all across the country and we would love to partner with you to host one.

  • Co-author with ISC publications, surveys, and other projects in the works

Joining us as an official partner or sponsor directly supports programs that connect artists with resources, generates new opportunities, and shares pathways to strengthen communities nationwide. Our partners are all considered a part of the ISC and we would love for you to take a meaningful journey with us to raise the value of the arts and artists.

If you are an organization interested in joining our Partnerships Program, we’d love to share the many ways we can collaborate together to benefit artists and our community: CONTACT US.
