INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINED CREATIVITY
Mentor
Alexandra Siclait
Strategic Advisor, Venture Philanthropy, Social Impact
I believe artists deserve more than just advice on the next opportunity—they deserve a comprehensive strategy that empowers them to build the career they desire on their own terms.
I am a Strategic Advisor at the intersection of arts, culture, and philanthropy. My focus is on mentoring artists and creative leaders who are ready to build intentional and sustainable careers.
With experience from Creative Capital, South Arts, the Smithsonian Institution, the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs, and various statewide creative economy initiatives, I help artists navigate the funding, institutional, and leadership systems that shape creative opportunities. I offer an insider's perspective on how artists, funders, and cultural institutions collaborate to create meaningful and lasting opportunities.
My mentoring approach combines practical guidance with strategic insight. Together, we can strengthen your grant, fellowship, residency, and award applications; refine your professional narrative; identify opportunities aligned with your goals; and develop a long-term strategy for your creative practice.
Whether you're pursuing your next opportunity or navigating a period of transition, my mentorship is designed to help you make informed decisions with confidence, build a career that reflects your creative vision and long-term aspirations, and develop practical strategies to help you navigate the arts ecosystem with confidence.
